Dhumal arrives in city to support daughter-in-law of HP, Kirron Kher

Chandigarh April 2, 2014: The former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, P K Dhumal reached Chandigarh to support the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh, Kirron Kher. The BJP’s state President, Sanjay Tandon welcomed Dhumal at a public rally held at Dhanas.

While speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Tandon said, “The scam-ridden Congress MP, Pawan Kumar Bansal is set to fade because everybody is aware of ‘Mama-Bhanja’ episode in the city. The residents of Chandigarh are looking for change in the political system of the city and our MP candidate is getting overwhelming response. I urge Dhumal to bless the daughter-in-law of Himachal to serve the mandate of people and contribute towards the mission 272+ for BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi”.

Extending his support to Kirron Kher, the ex-CM, PK Dhumal said, “I have lost the count of money Congress party has siphoned off by indulging in various scams in the last decade.  Narendra Modi was the in-charge of Himachal and Chandigarh for eight years. And the way to Himachal is from Chandigarh and both the places will be equally blessed after winning the Lok Sabha Elections”.

Hitting at UPA government, Dhumal added, “Our soldiers were mercilessly beheaded by the Pakistanis but it could not move the UPA government. Instead of taking a strong action, Pakistan’s prime minister was welcomed by none less than the foreign minister Salman Khurshid and also served him with chicken Biryani at Jaipur. We need a prime minister who can tackle with these troubles being posed by our neighbouring country and the India does not need PM who remains a mere spectator to serious issues”.

The MP candidate, Kirron Kher asked people of Dahans that why they elected Pawan Kumar Bansal as MP when he did not perform well. Suggesting the common populace to check the merits of the contender, she added, “It is possible to replicate Gujarat’s developmental in Chandigarh. Our party will work towards ensuring the basic facilities like uninterrupted electricity and clean water. We will also bring industry which will generate employment and reduce inflation. Besides this we will keep a check on price rise especially of essential commodities and the LPG. If you are looking for development then vote for BJP”.
