International Yoga Day

Chandigarh 12.12.14 : It is as a result of the untiring efforts of Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi that Indian Yoga has achieved international recognition. 21st June will henceforth be celebrated as International Yoga Day. President, BharatiyaJanata Party Chandigarh, General Secretaries Chandershekhar and PremKaushik, Spokesperson Dr Dharinder Tayal and the entire BJP Chandigarh family expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister ShriNarendraModi for accomplishing this monumental task.

This information was given by BJP Chandigarh media cell coordinator RavinderPathania. He said that state President Sanjay Tandon while congratulating all Indians said that with the BJP forming the government at the centre the country has started regaining its lost glory and the international organizations have realized that the achievements of Indians cannot be ignored any longer.

He added that it is the result of the constructive vision of ShriNarendraModi that yoga which originated in India is now internationally acclaimed Following this announcement by the United Nations several yoga organizations in Chandigarh welcomed this decision and presented congratulatory letters to the State President , thanking ShriNarendraModi and BJP.

General Secretary of Chandigarh Yoga Association Dr Mahinder Singh in his letter said that while this decision will augment the international name and fame of the country , it will also inspire millions of people worldwide to learn this art. This will strengthen the children mentally and physically all over the world.In her congratulatory message JaspreetKashyap, yoga instuctor DAV School, Sector 8 said that the credit for this decision goes to ShriNarendraModi and BJP. This international recognition will accelerate the spread and acceptance of Yoga and will free the coming generations of a multitude of diseases.
