BJP to host ‘Thanks Giving Ceremony’ on Friday 23rd May, 2014

Chandigarh May 22, 2014: Acknowledging the hard of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chandigarh unit in ensuring the victory of party’s candidate Kirron Kher in Lok Sabha Elections-2014, the party has decided to host a ‘Thanks Giving Ceremony’.

The grand event will be held at an open ground adjacent to an Old Hanuman Temple, Sector 32 A in the evening at 6pm on Friday (May 23). This information was given by the Convener of party’s media cell, Ravinder Pathania.

The media cell’s convener informed that to ensure the success of this event, a meeting under the leadership of the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon was held at party office, Kamlam sector 33 today.

The meeting was attended by party’s office bearers, Morcha’s Presidents and District Presidents. Pathania said that that the ceremony will begin at 6 pm under the leadership of Sanjay Tandon.

While addressing the gathering at the meeting, Sanjay Tandon said, “Kirron Kher has won with thumping margins in Chandigarh and credit goes to the party workers who displayed solidarity to ensure historic victory of the party’s candidate. Besides, the party is also thankful to the well-educated populace of the city beautiful who contributed significantly while electing the right contender”.

The event will be graced by the newly elected MP, Kirron Kher, BJP, Chandigarh, In-charge, Arti Mehra, former MP, Satya Pal Jain, former union minister, Harmohan Dhawan, State officials, district Presidents, Mandal Presidents, Presidents and officials of various committees and members of cells and Morchas. Besides officials of state’s working committee, BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal’s councilors along with party workers will also come to celebrate the victory of the party.
